Deputy Stabbed in Mtn Home

A deputy has been stabbed and his attacker has been killed in Mountain Home. Here's what happened. 

Just before 11:30 last night law enforcement were on the scene at the Rose Garden Trailer Park after hearing reports of a man walking around with a gun.

When a deputy approached the man in question the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the officer several times.

Both the officer attacked and his partner returned fired.

According  to KTVB it is unclear at this point if the attacker died from one of the officers bullets or a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His name is not being released to the public at this time.

Luckily, the officer is going to be fine. He was treated at St. Luke's Elmore Hospital for non life-threatening gunshot wounds.
