Our friend Leslie in Middleton has a big problem! Her Dad will not give his permission for her boyfriend to marry her! What should she do?

Dear Rick & Carly,

My family is feuding. My boyfriend asked my father for my hand in marriage and my father said No! He says no man is good enough for me. Should I go ahead and marry my boyfriend without my father's permission? I would be curious to know if any of your other listeners have been in my position. Thanks for your help!
