Dear Rick and Carly, 

My 17 year old daughter has been dating her 21 year old boyfriend for about a year. He's always taking advantage of her. She spends most of her money on him. He's smug, mean, and everything he wears must be a brand name. He's a compulsive liar and is quite controlling. He said he recently left his job because he didn't get along with his manager. I've heard he was fired for always being late. He monopolizes my daughter's time and let's her have no friends. How can I convince her that he's a MISTAKE?! Is it my place to do so?
