A beautiful young woman is no longer with us this morning after a deadly accident involving a semi-truck.

Cassidee Kippes was just 23-years-old. She failed to stop at a stop sign in her pickup truck and as she continued through the intersection she was hit by a semi headed northbound.

The crash caused the semi to roll over and burst into flames. Luckily, the driver of the semi 69-year-old George Acosta survived, but he is being treated at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls and his condition is unknown.

According to KTVB, Cassidee was not wearing a seatbelt and she died from her injuries at the scene.

The crash was so bad that as of 6:50 a.m. this morning the intersection of U.S.93 at 3800 North was closed. We'll keep you update as soon as we hear word that it has reopened.

In the meantime, please keep everyone who has suffered loss due to this terrible accident in your thoughts and prayers.
