When you see these rollover accidents happening at 3:50 a.m. you have to wonder if exhaustion and lack of sleep play a role.  I drive to Salt Lake City just about every weekend to see my kids and sometimes I can barely keep my eyes open so I get it.  I'm not sure if that's what took place in this crash that ended up taking a life early this morning or not.

The crash was originally reported this morning by KTVB alerting drivers to extra traffic on I-84 between Mountain Home and Boise near milepost 69.  This crash was on the westbound side of the freeway.  The Idaho State Police reported that the driver of a full-sized SUV swerved off the freeway, overcorrected getting themselves back on to the freeway and then flipping in the process.  We do not know if the driver of the SUV was a man or a woman but we do know that they were immediately ejected from the vehicle killing them instantly.

Traffic was backed up for almost four hours but obviously, things cleared up since then.  Investigators and police will not release the name of the deceased until after family members have been notified.  Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
