Season 8 of 'The Voice' kicked off last night with a lot of great performances. One performance that stood out was by country crooner Cody Wickline. He channeled his inner possum, and sang George Jones' "He stopped loving her today."

All four judges turned around after his performance, and Adam Levine said "That is the best country music performance I have ever heard anyone perform on this show. 100%."

Blake said "That song may be the most important country song in the last 60 years."

After listening to all of the judges beg for him to be on their team, he ended up going with Blake. Can you blame him?
