Cigarette Starts Fire at Boise Nightclub

A cigarette butt started a fire at a downtown nightclub over the weekend. 

It happened Saturday afternoon at the China Blue nightclub when a cigarette wasn't properly disposed of on the patio.

According to KTVB, witnesses saw flames coming from the second-floor patio when many of them arrived for the Basque San Inazio Festival at about 4:45 p.m.

Luckily, the club was closed at the time and no one was inside. There were no injuries, firefighters put the blaze out quickly from outside, and minimal damage was done to the club.
