Christmas Lights Surprise Boise Military Family

Sometimes our active duty military families get the shaft when it comes to Christmas.  Husbands are deployed, wives are taking care of EVERYTHING back at home and its just impossible to get Christmas ready.

Each year a military family is nominated to be surprised with a full blown Christmas light display all over their house.  This is a national project and a beautiful family from right here in Boise was just chosen.

Its called the Decorated Family Program and its put on by Senske Services.  Over 3,000 lights cover the tree, roof, windows, the driveway, and the wreath.  After a couple months of enjoying their holiday lights, Senske packs them all up and takes them away so the family doesn't have to do one bit of work.

Thank you to Senske for thinking about these fantastic people that sacrifice so much.  And thank you for spreading some Christmas magic here in our Treasure Valley.
