The Christmas tree that was selected from the Payette National Forrest to be the Christmas tree at our Nation's Capitol has reached it's new home.

It's traveled over 4,000 miles during the past three weeks, but the Christmas tree that comes right from our state has finally arrived in Washington D.C.

It was selected from national forests across the country, so we feel pretty proud that it was chosen from Idaho.

According to KTVB, the official tree lighting will take place December 6th.
