Now, this is an exciting pairing for Cam fans: The country singer is going on tour with  Sam Smith this summer! The run is set to kick off in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on June 18, and will continue across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico over the course of the summer.

Cam could barely contain herself as she took to Twitter to share the news, writing "THATS RIGHT IM GOING ON TOUR WITH @samsmithworld. Little ol’ me is opening up for this icon at Madison Square Garden, Montreal, Mexico, Nashville.... (full list below)..." Clearly excited, the singer also included the emoji of someone's mind being blown along with hearts and stars. See below for Cam's over-the-moon tweet which also features a picture of the tour schedule.

"[Smith] is one of the greatest singers of our generation," Cam added in a press release. "To be associated with his show -- that voice, those songs, that heart -- it's a tremendous compliment, and I can't wait to share my music with his audience every night."

This isn't the first time Cam and Smith have worked together. Cam wrote his song, "Palace," and performed her own version of the song at the Country Radio Seminar in February of 2018. Cam and Tyler Johnson, who brought the pop and country stars together, co-wrote the song with Smith. He recorded it for his latest album, The Thrill of It All, which was released in November of 2017.

Cam recently joined Train along with Gym Class Heroes' frontman Travie McCoy on a fun-loving new track, "Call Me Sir." Her latest single, "Diane," was released in February of 2018, and is the first taste of her upcoming sophomore album. More information about the tour can be found on Smith's official website. Tickets are on sale now.
