Caldwell Police Officers Emergency Babysitting

Two Caldwell Police Officers went way above and beyond when they were called to a home with a choking 11 month old little boy.

Corporal Mathews and Officer Ivie played the role of mother for a few hours so that one mother could make sure all her children were taken care of.  When her 11 month old was taken by ambulance to the hospital, she stayed behind because she had two other small children at home.

Mathews and Ivie never left the side of her baby, changing diapers and holding him until his mother could arrive.
