Saw these HUGE steel beams that must be one or two hundred feet long heading down Broadway today.

Crews started setting girders for the new Broadway Avenue Bridge on March 17th.  If your regular drive takes you down Broadway or Myrtle you'll probably see what I saw today.  Massive steel beams!

The traffic control on Broadway Avenue and Myrtle Street has been great.  Very few delays and safety is always top of mind.  Some slow downs will occur on Intestate 84 in East Boise and I-84 (Connector) to accommodate the oversize loads.  The girder placement process continues through Mid-April.

Bottom line.  These guys are doing great work and everything seems to be moving along well.  A big thank you to the workers, the city, and of course, the community for their patience in getting this monstrous task taken care of.
