We have great stores and restaurants coming to the Treasure Valley all the time, but there are a few places that have closed up shop in Boise that we wish would come back!

1. The Trolley Bar: It used to be a local watering hole and before that it was an ice-cream parlor. The Trolley Bar was one of the longest running businesses in Boise, but has closed up shop despite being refurbished in 2014 after a fire in 2006.

2. Grind Modern Burger: We loved their gourmet burgers, but sadly they shut down in February of this year.

3. Deer Flat Mercantile in Huston: Just outside of Caldwell, this old-time mercantile shop helped aid in the areas development for nearly a century. They closed their doors back in 2005.

4. Thunder Mountain Line in Horseshoe Bend: This used to be on every families bucket list when visiting the Treasure Valley and kids loved it, but the economy put the train out of business at the beginning of this year.
