Boy Hit By Car Near Nampa High School

Situations like this are never good. A boy hit by a car near Nampa High School this morning. 

It happened about 7:40 this morning at 12th and Colorado Avenue. Police confirm the young man was using the crosswalk when for reasons unknown he was hit.

His injuries were serious enough that he was taken to the hospital, but according to an article on KTVB the boy was conscious and breathing at the scene. His current condition is unknown, and it has not been confirmed whether or not he was a student or not at Nampa High School. We'll keep you posted if we hear of any developments.

As for the driver of the car that hit the boy, he is cooperating with police. That person's identity and how that accident happened will be unveiled in the investigation.
