This is one of the rare times it seems that a fatal accident here in Boise was JUST that.  An accident.  No drugs involved, no alcohol, no reckless driving or looking at the cell phone.  This was just a tragic accident that unfortunately ended with an 83-year-old woman dead.

KTVB first reported the story that told of an 83-year-old woman that was struck and killed on Cole Road in Boise, Idaho last Friday night.  The woman was holding on to life as first responders showed but died just hours after making it to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

The Ada County Coroner's Office has now told us the victim was 83-year-old Glenys E. Jenson of Boise.  The woman who accidentally struck and killed Jenson stayed at the scene of the crime and has been nothing but cooperative towards the Boise Police Department.  As of now, we do not know exactly what happened but the BPD has not filed charges against the driver and does not suspect any wrongdoing.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Glenys Jenson.
