A 26 year old woman from Boise has been tragically taken from us far too soon.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon along I-75 near Galena Summit.

According to KTVB, Kimberly R. Hayes of Boise was with a group of motorcyclists driving northbound when she failed to negotiate a turn which caused her to cross the center line and she then sideswiped a trailer.

The horrible accident didn't end there. 57 year old Michael Jones of Nampa, who was also in the motorcycle group hit Hayes. Then 46 year old Jason Clark of Meridian tried to avoid the wreck, but ended up crashing himself.

26 year old Kimberly Hayes died at the scene. The other two bikes involved in the crash were carrying passengers identified as 54 year old Dana Simmons and 45 year old Julie Clark.

Dana Simmons was the only person not wearing a helmet and all four were taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. As of this morning we don't have an update on their condition.
