Boise Crossfit in Garden City put on a charity princess themed work out to bring in money for the victims of that horrific stabbing a few weeks ago that killed a beautiful three-year-old girl on her birthday.

KTVB reports that participants were doing specific numbers of reps which correlated with the age of each stabbing victim.  The event was a hit.  People were feeling good, doing good, and enjoying bringing in money for such a great cause.  That's when it happened.  Around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, just as the event was wrapping up, organizers noticed the jar of money was gone. There was approximately $2,000 in the jar and it was nowhere to be found.

Boise Crossfit owner Andy Rosenbaum had this to say...

At the end of the day, we want the money back, and we've had some people step up and help us recover some of the loss.  It doesn't make up for stealing in the first place - and you're a thief. Let's figure this out.

After frantically searching the Garden City Police Department was called around 11:30.  They're asking anyone with information about the theft to contact them at 208-472-2950. You can also leave a tip with Crime Stoppers of Southwest Idaho at 208-343-COPS, and remain anonymous.
