Boise Man Dead After Swat Called to Motel 6

Early this morning the SWAT team was called out to Motel 6 along Airport Way. In the end one man was dead and the motel was evacuated. 

The man, who has not been identified, died of an apparent drug overdose according to KTVB.

The SWAT team was called about 5 a.m. this morning because the man was reportedly armed and the motel was evacuated as a precaution.

Luckily none of the hotel guest or officers were injured at all. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who passed away in connection with this incident.
