Baby It’s Cold Outside!

I am always cold, but apparently it's a woman thing...

I bring my electric blanket into the studio every single morning. I couldn't do the show without it. When I'm cold it's all I can think about, so I took comfort when I read that most women are more productive in warmer temperatures.

A new survey by Software Advice shows that, on average, men like their office temp to be set at 70 degrees while women prefer the office temperature at 72 degrees.

At home I set my thermostat to 75, which most people seem to think is hot, but it makes me comfortable and happy.

So I wasn't surprised when this study found that 23% of women prefer their office temperature between 75 and 80 degrees.

A previous study by Cornell also reveals that women are more productive when their office is warmer. They have a 10% error rate when the temperature is 77 degrees, compared to 25% when the temperature in the office is 68 degrees.
