Are We Really Getting 18 More Inches Of Snow?

I was playing poker with some buddies last night when I heard "we're getting 18 more inches on Thursday."

What?  Really??  I think I had heard we might be getting some snow this weekend but 18 inches?  That puts the rest of our Snowpocalypse to shame.  A quick bit of investigating and here's what I found.

We're stuck with this inversion yucky stuff for the next few days.  Rain may start as early as Wednesday and head straight through the weekend.  Luckily Monster Jam is inside.  Yay!  Oh, and I did say RAIN!  Friday and early next week look the worst but we're talking about temperatures in the low 40's, so my theory on what my poker buddies say has been proven right again.  They don't know squat!
