Ok, cue the cuteness!!! There's an annual Sheep in the Foothills Festival and it's pretty much the best thing ever.

Ok, now that the initial cuteness shock is over, let me tell you about it. It's an annual event put on by the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center dedicated to all things sheep. According to Boise Weekly, the event will feature a ton of sheep grazing the foothills, wool and sheep-related crafts, live sheepdog-herding demonstrations, mini sheep petting zoo, and live music from Gary and Cindy Braun.

At its core, the event -according to the Boise Weekly- is about education. You'll learn more about sheep farming, the changing environment, and even the circle of life. They'll have some not-so-live sheep to enjoy too (yum). The cool thing about this event is that it's free for the whole family!

WHAT: Sheep in the Foothills Festival

WHERE: Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center - 3188 Sunset Peak Road
