The Idaho Statesman reports that 67-year-old Donald Jackson is currently in custody after TSA agents at the Boise airport say he attempted to hijack a flight on Friday evening.

Jackson had a seven-inch fixed blade knife under the insole of his shoe when attempting to board a flight.  There was also a leafy green substance found in his other boot which ended up testing positive for marijuana.

Jackson says he was just trying to get the knife from one destination to the other but the Boise Police Department was taking no chances and immediately placed him under arrest.  There was no altercation, no threats, and no violence attempted and all charges are considered just that... charges.  Jackson is innocent until proven guilty.  We'll keep you posted on the investigation and what happens with this case.
