18 YR Old Middleton Man Killed in Fiery Crash

An 18 year old man from Middleton has been killed in a horrible crash along I-84 at the Utah/Idaho border. 

Tucker J, Kunz was riding in the back seat of a 2016 Lexus RS that was headed eastbound on I-84 just east of Snowville on Monday afternoon. For reasons unknown, the car drifted into the center lane and hit the median, sending it airborne for about 100 feet. The Lexus then rolled and three people were removed from the vehicle before it burst into flames.

Tucker died on the way to Bear River Valley hospital in Tremonton, Utah. Those who assisted him out of the car say he was not breathing when they removed him and they tried to provide CPR without any luck.

The driver of the Lexus was also an 18 year old man from Highland, Utah. He and another passenger were transported to the hospital, but according to KTVB, they did not sustain life-threatening injuries and all three passengers in the vehicle were wearing their seat belts.
