If you love dogs and love art that features man's (and woman's) best friend, then you need to check out this amazing art gallery featuring you guessed it, 100 dog painting by local artist, Mary Arnold.

According to the Boise Weekly, Arnold stepped away from art and painting after high school and eventually went into the tech sector for her profession. But, after reigniting her love for art, she decided to make dogs the subject for her paintings, and she got busy.

Arnold set a goal for herself to paint 100 dogs or all shapes and sizes. According to Boise Weekly, she would photograph pups that she encountered around the Treasure Valley. But, after posted about her project on social media, pup parents started sending pictures of their fur babies right to her in the hopes of having their pups immortalized in a painting.

The exhibit entitle 100 Dogs! will be on display for just one day at the Lake Harbor Events Center in Boise. According to Boise Weekly, Arnold plans to donate some of the profits to local charities including the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley and the Idaho Humane Society.

100 Dogs! Art Exhibition

Thursday, March 28 --- 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Lake Harbor Events Center - 3050 N. Lake Harbor Lane, Boise

What's really cool about her artwork is that, aside from normal looking dogs, she also personalizes the portraits using bright colors; making their fur "bright blue, electric purple, or flame red."

You can get a sneak peak of some of the portraits that will be on display next week RIGHT HERE.
