Felony charges are pending.  Two people with a lot of drugs in their SUV caught on I-84.

It started as a routine traffic stop for the Ada County Sheriff's Office.  It ended up with two people going to jail and ten pounds of methamphetamine being confiscated.

The culprits are both residents of Boise.  59 year-old James Dorsey and 41 year-old Colleen Grenicko were pulled over in their SUV on Saturday morning for speeding on I-84.  They were going 90 miles per hour and driving recklessly.

Unfortunately for these two, the deputy that stopped them was a K-9 deputy who used his dog to sniff around the vehicle.  The dog recognized the presence of drugs at two different locations of the vehicle.  8 large bags of meth were in a backpack along with pipes and a loaded shotgun.

Grenicko has been on parole for drug related issues since 2012.  They were both booked into the Ada County Jail and trial is set for today (Tuesday).  If convicted they could each face up to a possible life sentence.
