Zizly Becomes A U.S. Citizen…Kinda

So for a couple months now, I've been sharing my 'Road to Citizenship' with you, and yesterday it came to an end.

Half way through what I thought was my last interview, the guy says, "You're already a citizen."

As you can imagine I was pretty stunned. Apparently the law changed back in 2001, it says that only one of my parents had to be a citizen before I was 18 in order to be a citizen. As soon as that law changed, it automatically made me a U.S. citizen. WHHHHAAAAATTT???

So anyway, I've been going through the whole process, for nothing. Well, I guess not all is lost, I can now tell you how many constitutional amendments there are, and name all the wars the U.S. has been in. #boom
