Yotes Come Up #1 At National Ski Competition
Two students at The College of Idaho bring home the Gold from the USCSA National Skiing Championship in New York.
Anton Waller beat out 112 men in Lake Placid, New York to bring home the Alpine Slalom title. This is the first time since 1986 The Yotes have won this event. Waller locked in a 2-run time of 1 minute 25.58 seconds to beat Rocky Mountain's Andraz Reich-Pogladic by nearly a second.
Anna Granhed led the College of Idaho's women's skier-cross team to it's third national title in 6 years by claiming the gold medal. Granhed started with the lead and held on to it the entire time beating British Columbia's Megan McClintock by half a second.
