Originally it was reported that the woman who died in a crash that took place at the intersection of 10 Mile and Cherry Lane on Friday afternoon was 75-years -old.  After careful investigating and some time for the authorities to properly notify the family, coroners have released information that it was 78-year-old Sally Ann Weiskircher who died from blunt force trauma.

Weiskircher was the passenger in a car that collided with a truck that turned south onto Cherry Lane from 10 Mile Road and that's when the crash occurred.

According to KTVB, the driver of the car was Weiskircher's 55-year-old son who, along with her, was immediately transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center where he was listed as 'Critical'.  There was also a baby in the back seat but we've been told that no harm has come to the baby.

What exactly happened in this accident is still up in the air.  Multiple witnesses are telling different stories and police haven't been able to get a solid interview with the driver yet.  The investigation continues and we are so saddened by the loss for the Weiskircher family.  Our hearts go out to you.
