Where To Watch The Fireworks

We asked you to let us know where YOU think the best places are to watch 4th of July Fireworks!  Here's what you came up with!

Times are tentative:

1- Ann Morrison Park - Boise (10:21pm)
2 - God And Country - THURSDAY, JULY 2nd - Ford Idaho Center (dusk)
2 - Storey Park - Meridian (10:15pm)
3 - Mt. Home - Desert Canyon Golf Course (dusk)
4 - Middleton (dusk)
5 - Melba (dusk) - got several votes by the way
6 - McCall (over Payette Lake at dusk)
7 - Crouch (dusk)
8 - Council (don't forget the porcupine races!) dusk
9- Idaho Falls Riverfront - for those of you who want to travel
10 - Seattle - for those of you who REALLY want to travel!

FIREWORK LAWS - No secret that this year it's going to be hot and dry for the 4th of July weekends. Please be safe and smart. Remember that Idaho State laws prohibit anyone from lighting aerial fire works at any time during the year.

Laws also prohibit fireworks on all state and federally-owned land, including BLM land.

Remember that fireworks are illegal in many areas of Boise and around Ada County. The ban specifically applies to the unincorporated areas outside of city limits and outside of a fire protection district. If you have questions check with the police department or sherriff's department that has jurisdiction in your area.Most fireworks bans run through October 31.
