When Lime Scooters Will Be Back on the Streets of Meridian

We got a little tease from the green and white electric scooters on the streets of Meridian back in September, but then they went away, and now we're finding out when they're coming back.

Turns out, we're going to have to wait awhile. The City of Meridian doesn't want Lime to put the scooters back out until mid-March.

The scooters were pulled off the streets after they briefly debuted in September. They were unveiled on a Thursday and pulled off the streets by Monday because the city says Lime didn't communicate with police, business owners, and the public about how the scooters were to be used.

According to KTVB, another scooter share company, Bird, will also have to delay their launch until March. They were originally planning on putting their scooters out in mid-October, but it's going to be a while before we can go for a ride.
