Over the past couple of days more than 100 people have been bothered enough by the foul stench in the air of Kuna, Idaho that they've picked up the phone and called the Intermountain Gas Company looking for answers.  The problem... as of now there are no answers and the stink just continues.

The Idaho Statesman reports that the smell was first reported in the area of Meridian Road and Avalon Street to 10 Mile Road and Hubbard Road a couple of days ago but the stench seemed to disappear around 1 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday.  Then it was back.  Calls started flooding in again around 3 a.m. on Tuesday all the way through 11 o'clock in the morning.

Officials are left scratching their heads and looking for answers.  The Kuna Fire Department, Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Kuna police and the city of Kuna are all working with Intermountain Gas Company trying to figure out what's going on.  They're not concerned the smell is hazardous, just a nuisance.  Anyone experiencing this stench has been asked to report the smell to Intermountain at 208-548-3679.
