Walking Through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Can you imagine if your child was diagnosed with cancer? Hundreds of thousands of families have to go through that every day, luckily there’s a hospital who gives family what they need the most: hope.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is that hope. I got the amazing opportunity to visit the hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where founder, Danny Thomas realized his dream of helping children.
Walking through the hospital was such an inspiration, and I’m so excited and proud to be able to help the amazing work St. Jude does.
The bust of founder Danny Thomas, rubbing his nose is said to be good luck.
Comics from several publications when Danny Thomas died.
Of course, the coolest way to get around.
Amazing art from a Brazilian artist in the front lobby of the hospital.
The ABC’s of Cancer.
The mural wall in the dining area; which is shared by staff, patients, and they’re families.
The original statue of St. Jude in front of the hospital (didn’t realize I was taking a picture of someone haha)
These flags represent the countries that doctors, researchers, and staff come from.
