Do you have a pup that loves to tug on the leash? They live to go fast, but maybe sometimes too fast and you don't really know how to control your bike (or if you're like me your legs lol). Well, there's a new activity that may love and it encourages them to lead and go fast! It's called Urban Mushing. Yeah, you know, like sled dogs! According to Boise Weekly, 'Urban Mushing' actually started off as an off-season training for sled dogs that has transformed into its own sport; and now it's here in Boise.

Mia Gussie is the founder of Dryland Dogs, a company that teaches dogs-and their humans-the urban mushing sport. They're hosting a workshop this Saturday so you can try it out for yourself. I know my dog, Dude, would be all over this so I'm excited to learn more about it. It's ideal for dogs that are over 30 pounds and in good health. In fact, if your pup has got some chunky rolls on them, this could be the perfect way to get them fit!
