Join WOW 104.3 at the Turkey Day 5K

It's one of my absolute favorite events that we're a part of, the Lifetime Turkey Day 5K sponsored by Shu's Idaho Running Company. This year will mark my 6th year as the hostess of this awesome event that brings together thousands of Turkey Trotters from all over the Treasure Valley.

Not only is it a fun way to start your Thanksgiving morning, but it's an opportunity to do some good at the same time! During the packet pick-ups at Shu's Idaho Running Compnay on State St. in Boise (or at the race) you can drop off non-perishable food items to fill up the pantries at the Boise Rescue Mission so they can help our neighbors in need.

Last year we had thousands show up, and if we can hit our goal of 8,000 participants, the Turkey Day 5K will hand the Boise Rescue Mission a $10,000 check at the race! Just by participating you'll be helping folks in need right here in our community!
