Treasure Valley Supermarket Closing

It's been in our community for years but this grocery store is closing their doors the beginning of December. 

Rosauers Supermarkets will be gone at Eagle Road and Ustick as of December 2nd. A clearance sale will kick off October 11th and pharmacy prescriptions will be transferred to Albertson's.

Rosauers has been our neighborhood supermarket for the last 5 1/2 years. They had high hopes when they joined our community in March of 2012. They had dreams of expanding but it simply hasn't worked in Meridian.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the 60,000 square foot store was modeled after an existing Rosauers in Bozeman, Montana.

I thought this was pretty cool, Rosauers is trying to find other jobs for the current employees of the grocery store and they will offer severance to those who qualify.
