If you're looking for some legitimate paranormal activity... it's closer than you think.  Here's the top 5 most haunted places in Idaho.

This tavern is famous for it's back room which people call "The Cave" and this place is known for it's spirits and paranormal activity.  Recording inside The Cave have proved up to 4 different haunted voices.  A female with a southern accent, a grumbly old man, a young man, and a whispering female.  Witnesses say that spirits have touched them, played with their hair, and whispered in their ear.

This hotel was renovated and a lot of construction workers quit because of all the paranormal activity.  Years ago there was a bellman who was gunned down in the hotel and his ghost now moves the elevator up and down by itself.  People have reported seeing the bellman peeing around corners in the building, doors opening and closing, lights going on and off, and moaning sounds can be heard on certain floors.  The third and fourth floors are known to be haunted by an aggressive spirit that yanks people out of their beds.

The Egyptian Theater opened in 1927. The hauntings come from a ghost believed to be a man named Joe, a projectionist who worked there from the 1920's to the 1950's when he had a heart attack while climbing the stairs to the projection booth.  Joe has been known to open and close doors, turn lights on and off, and make noises.  This theater has been featured on many ghost-hunting tv shows.

Nobody knows who exactly is haunting the Enders Hotel but there are a couple of theories.  Some people think it's a man who was shot and killed there, others think it's a man who fell down the stairs and died, and the third theory is it's a female prostitute who was murdered in the hotel.  It's most likely one of the first two because almost all sightings have been a male spirit.  The basement is the most haunted spot in the hotel.

After the Teton Flood in 1976 this hotel was abandoned.  That's right... I said hotel.  That's what it was in the early days.  In the 1980's it was renovated to the Cajun Eatery we know now as B.J.'s Bayou Restaurant.  Many haunts continue to be reported here including a young girl and an older gentleman in uniform.
