That is the question in Hayden, Idaho.

A homeowner in Hayden is already feuding with his Home Owner's Association regarding his very popular lighting display he started last year.

Jeremy Morris started his light show last year in a rental home; now that he's moved in to his new home, he plans to go even bigger. But his HOA is becoming the Scrooge to his Christmas tradition.

Last year, Morris featured carolers, elaborate light displays, and even a live camel. He also managed to raise -in just one week- hundreds of dollars for children's charities.

The HOA is saying that with the display, Morris would be violating 3 sections of their code including: nuisance, excessive brightness, and outdoor speakers.

Even though Morris promises to only have the lights on for two hours a day for five days (and turning them off promptly at 8p), the HOA continues to fight back. They're even considering legal action!

So what should Morris do? Does your Treasure Valley HOA give you any grief on Christmas lights?
