Tips to Preventing Frozen Pipes in your Home

We're hitting the single digits tomorrow! Here are some tips to prevent your pipes from freezing over!

KTVB's Alex Livingston, talked to Cloverdale Plumbing about how to prevent your pipes from freezing this winter.

• Close that garage door
• close the vents to your crawl space (closing them every fall and opening them every spring)
• don't turn off the heat in your home (even if you're heading out of town)
• disconnect your outdoor hose
• open your faucet to let the water drip
