Things to Remember Before You Vote
Don't forget these things if you're heading out to your polling place.
Today is the day!!!! Just remember these few things before you head to the polls.
Proper Identification: Make sure you have a photo ID with you when heading to your polling place.
- If you don't have a photo ID you can request to fill out a personal identification affidavit.
Register / Re-Register: If you're not registered to vote, or you've moved or have changed your name - you can still vote.
- Just bring your photo ID and a utility bill to show proof of residency.
Neutral Space: One hundred feet around the polling place is considered a 'protected space,' so leave your political signs, buttons, or any clothing supporting a candidate at home!
SELFIE TIME! In Idaho, it's ok to take a picture in your poll booth with your ballot as long as you don't disrupt anyone else who is voting.
Absentee Ballots: These are due when polls close today, you can drop them off at a special mailbox outside of the Ada County Elections Office - 400 N Benjamin Ln # 100, Boise, ID 83704
Poll Hours: Remember the polls are open until 8p tonight. As long as you're in line by 8p you can still vote!
