I have a serious obsession with pools of hot water (as in I think having a hot tub at your house is more important than having a sofa!) So I can't wait to discover all of the beautiful hot springs around Idaho.

Who wants to come with me? I've got my suit packed and I'm ready to go! I remember my parents taking me to Lava Hot Springs back when I was 10. Lava is in the south eastern part of the state and is well known for their Olympic size diving platforms. I was a dare devil as a kid, and I remember jumping off the highest diving board (10 meters) and the water stinging my feet like I'd never felt before when I landed. I can't wait to take my kids this summer and dare them to jump! The pools of Lava Hot Springs range from 102-112 degrees so if you like it hot, get ready to take a dip!

Gold Bug Hot Springs looks like one of the most beautiful hot springs in the state. Amazing waterfalls flow into the springs and you have to hike 2 miles to get to the pools! What a fun adventure!

Burgdorf Hot Springs are just North of McCall and feature an Olympic sized hot springs and quaint little cabins that make for the perfect romantic getaway.

Skinny Dipper Hot Springs are open year-round and clothing is optional! It's located near the South Fork of Payette River.

Sacajawea Hot Springs is located near the trailhead of the Sawtooth Wilderness. They user made pools that offer beautiful views of the mountains.

Jerry Johnson Hot Springs are located in the Clearwater National Forest near the Montana boarder. They look breathtakingly beautiful nestled among the trees. In fact they make me want to take a road trip right now!

Trail Creek Hot Springs are located just outside Cascade. Hot waters sprinkles down the rocks and weaves its way through trail creek.

Stanley Hot Springs. You have to take a 6 mile hike to get to the springs, but once you reach this hidden gem just outside Elk City you are in pure paradise.

Let's go hot tubbin'!
