The Drunkest Towns in Idaho

Evidently we like to have a good time in Idaho, because we have a bit of a booze problem! Here's the drunkest counties in Idaho!

This study shows we fall in the middle of the country as far as alcohol consumption goes, but we're near the top for wine drinkers and at least 19% of people in these counties consider themselves heavy drinkers!

10. Elmore County: (a.k.a. Mountain Home) 19% of the population says they drink more than they should.

9. Nez Perce County: 19% say they drink excessively

8. Bonner County: 19% or nearly 1/5 of the population say they over drink

7. Custer County: 19% over drink

6. Teton County: 20% of residents say they have a drinking problem

5. Shoshone County: 21% drink excessively

4. Latah County: 22% drink too much

3. Lincoln County: 23% say they drink the booze more than they should
