Teen Dies After Rescue From Quinn’s Pond

The Boise Police Department pulled a 15-year-old boy out of Quinn’s Pond last night and the tragic news just hit… he didn’t make it.

The boy was swimming with friends, went under and didn’t come back up.  Calls immediately came in to the Boise Police Department just after 7 p.m. which led to all hands on deck from the city of Boise.  The Boise Fire Department and their dive team along with Ada County Paramedics and the BPD all were on the scene.

The dive team found the boy and he was quickly transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Witnesses say the boy was under the water for about 23 minutes.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to this young man’s friends and family.
