Target's data breach in 2013 affected 46 states including us here in Idaho.  So why is Target paying us $18.5 million and who gets the money?  I'm ready for my share.

Remember when 60 million customers nationwide had all of their information stolen?  Names, addresses, credit card numbers, etc, etc.  Hackers were using this information to steal and Target's negligence was to blame.

Close to a quarter of a million dollars is coming back to Idaho to pay for fees and investigative expenses.  Yeah, that's right.  This money's not coming to you or me.  Bummer.

Over 160,000 cards were hacked in 2013 which has led to Target being mandated to have a third party conduct a comprehensive security assessment of the company.
