State of Emergency

Fire restrictions are on the way.

Acting Governor Brad Little finally had to do it.  He just declared a State of Disaster Emergency for three more Idaho Counties.

Doesn't look like the storms have stopped taking their toll.  Ontario joins Boise, Nampa, Kuna, and other cities that have declared states of emergencies.  The requested declaration was made at 11 am today following the recent weather which officials describe as "unprecedented in the last 30 years...

Looks like Nampa is the latest city to declare a state of emergency due to the recent storms.  The decision to declare came after 2 of the city's 4 snow plows broke down due to "non-stop" use since Dec. 5. Replacement parts are on their way and will be shipped to Nampa by the end of the week...
