The protest broke out this morning and Superintendent Robin Gilbert said the Payette High School went on lock-down because of it. As for what is causing these high schoolers to go on lock-down? We do not know just yet. The principal and the Superintendent is working on talking with the student president now to find out more.
The West Ada School District Board of Trustees approved to bring students as early as March 29th which would be the Monday after school break. This again would be for students in grades 6 through 12.

It comes at no surprise to me that after a year like this Dr. Mary Ann Ranells the West Ada School District superintendent has announced her plan to resign at the end of the school year.
The transition will start November 30th. So next week will be the last for the current hybrid model that allows the children to do in person learning every other day. Now they will be switching to all virtual learning until at least January 15th
After 5 certified staff members tested positive and at least 4 more are under quarantine, Caldwell High School decided to switch to all remote learning.
