What a nightmare. She thought he was a trusted family friend, but Melissa Transue of Homedale endured the unthinkable when he kidnapped her and held her captive for over a week. Here is her story.

According to KTVB a police department in Rockford, Maine had a new K-9 ready to go and that's where Brady comes in. Brady is a 4-year-old female black lab who's main job is to detect marijuana. Since marijuana has been legalized in Maine there has not been much use for her there.

Our thoughts and prayers are with a young man and his toddler this morning after they were ejected from their vehicle in Homedale.

14-year-old Julian Bedolla of Homedale has been missing since Dec. 9 and the police are asking for anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward. He was last seen in the Caldwell area and a reward is being offered for his return...

Homedale School District plans on going to a four day school week to save the district $40 - $70k a year after two levies failed.  This morning we were asking you as a parent, teacher, or student how you felt about the change.  The decreased school week would result in an increase in hours the other four days.
