This year is the worst for fires in California history, Oregon, Washington and Idaho are having a rough fire year too. Thousands have been evacuated and at least 13 have died.
Driving into downtown Boise, I couldn't help but notice the smoke sheen blocking the mountains. The treasure valley is starting to look more like LA air quality.
The Oregon wildfire, believed to be man started, is currently only 3% contained. It's near Mosier and about 900 homes are in jeopardy as crews join to help.
Students with classes in Riverfront Hall or the Boise State University Library were greeted with cancellations and concerns of fire (due to smoke) this morning.
