Looks like it might become legal to speed in the Gem State pretty soon............well, kind of.  The House voted 60-5 in favor of a bill that would allow drivers to go 15 miles over the speed limit while passing drivers on two-lane highways.

Now before you speed demons out there get too excited, it should be noted that this bill ONLY applies to roads where the speed limit is 55 miles per hour or higher.  Speeding on freeways will still be a big no-no in the eyes of the law.

The bill is definitely gaining traction though and is getting some big positive feedback.  Twin Falls Republican, Rep. Lance Clow says that law enforcement agencies for the most part seem to support his measure.
