Garden City Police pull a man seen floating the Boise River yesterday afternoon.

It was near 41st street and Garden City Police Sgt. Blair Brannan said the report of someone needing help in the water came in just after 5 p.m.  Witnesses weren't sure what they saw but thought it was a man in the water at Whitewater Park.  The man continued down the river to the Veterans Memorial Parkway bridge.

Dive teams and agencies were searching both sides of the river simultaneously.  The search was difficult because the water is still running high and fast.  The hard work paid off and the man has been pulled from the river.  No word yet on the condition or who this man is.
