Snow Tubing is Almost Over!

We went snow tubing at Idaho X Sports in Garden Valley this weekend, and I'm so glad we did!

If you take an hour drive on I-55 along the Payette River you reach a little slice of heaven. The drive goes by quickly with breathtaking views of the mountains, river, and trees. It did my soul some good and I found myself dreaming of becoming one with nature as the weather warms up, until then there is Idaho X Sports in Garden Valley.

They are open for 3 more weeks, until March 13th. It's been on our "to do list" all winter and I'm so glad we finally got to it!

Idaho X Sports provides 5 tubing lanes that give you a "somewhat mild" to Wild ride! It's a rush that you just have to experience before winter ends!

Fair warning though, it is not for the faint of heart. My 7 year old did one run and then sipped hot chocolate for the rest of our stay, but I saw 3 year old children having a blast and my 9 year old son did all five runs and had the time of his life!!

My favorite part, you don't have to do any climbing! The attach your tube to a cable and it pulls you right up the mountain.

Make sure to book a reservation though, because it's a popular place to hang on the weekends and now I know exactly why!
